I'm planning on going to work for them in a couple weeks. I got 2 jobs lined up so if I get to orientation and its bs I can call Marten so. Plus I know your not going to suit everybody. Just curious how is their driving test

 

Pretty basic at Columbus, and I am guessing everywhere else. Drive around the block or something and then back into a hole.
That is about it. Since you have to have recent experiance to get hired, they expect you to know how to drive.

 

Where did you end up?

 

worked for them from 2001 to 2005. made decent money. I was a system driver but they ran me like a regional driver. I saw alot of OKC and Dallas. Can't forget Kansas City also. I got home every weekend and had a very good dispatcher. They were a decent outfit then but have heard things have changed. Some for the worst.

 

Don't believe everything you hear, sounds like your experience was over all positive, not a whole lot has changed since you left, other than e-logs now.

 

What is Heartland paying SE Regional and how many miles can be expected?

 

Pay depends on years experience OTR, regional miles someone else will have to chime in on that, Kaptkirk is system.
