Heater blend door

    2006 9900i , metal bar came out of white plastic clip on blend door actuator, any ideas on where it's supposed to be when I put it back on? Clip and bar are both ok, just came apart

    Leave it apart and cycle the temp back and forth to see which direction everything is moving first to familiarize yourself. Then reconnect the rod. Usually the end protrudes past the plastic clip about a 1/4" or so. Just make sure the door is mating with the hosing at the end of each stroke.
