After seeing that pic, I miss AZ even more...
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
I don't think I would miss the haboob's, especially with a thunderstorm right after. It is nice 8 months out of the year though.
Hears a nice morning with one of my sunflowers.Bakerman, texasbbqbest and Lepton1 Thank this. -
Nice!
I lived out there for 5 years before having a brain fart and moving back east. I actually enjoyed the monsoon, but any pic of Phoenix makes me homesick...Big Don and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

Voyager1968, texasbbqbest and tucker Thank this. -
I'd gladly trade you for the snow and ice we just had today in NY . El Nino spoiled us last winter .

We've cooled down considerably up here. Lows in the mid 50's, high in high 70's to low 80's. This is the time of year that makes me believe I will never leave Utah's Dixie, to live anyplace else!texasbbqbest, Dave_in_AZ and Lepton1 Thank this.

Was real nice here too for awhile. Last week went back into the 90's. Now high 90's at least all week through the weekend. Its cooled down now, doesn't stay at 100 like it does in the summer.
I know '08 was scorching this time of the year cause that's when I painted the house. Maybe was'09, think '08 though. Thought I had it beat, and as soon as I started caulking everything it got hotter than hell. The back of my legs have never been so burnt by the time I was done with the whole thing.texasbbqbest, Bakerman and Big Don Thank this.
