Desert frogs are really something. They live underground for years at a time, until it rains. Then they come to the surface to make wild nookie.
austinmike, Oldironfan and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
That has to be what's happening lol.Lepton1 Thanks this.

I've interpreted frog croaking as follows:
"#### me! #### me! No, #### ME!"Dave_in_AZ and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Well it came down in buckets. Half a dozen places on 89 it was several inches deep, and turning brown moving fast.
Which means in minutes it could be up to the hubs, so I shagged it down here.
Just let up a little bit ago.Lepton1 Thanks this. -

That's the time to find high ground for parking. A few years ago I left the TA about 30 miles west of Memphis after fueling. Horrendous thunderstorm. The trucks at the low part of the lot already had water up to the bottom of the doors and rising. I'd hate to be those drivers waking up by putting my bare feet into water as I sit up from the bunk.stwik and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

It's been a weird year in Oklahoma. Hardly any tornadoes. Minimal flooding. Getting good rain, FINALLY, in the panhandle. My set of aggressive Yokohama drives has had few chances to test the Vaseline mud, but have come through very well.
Oldironfan and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
