They made it a dream, when they opened I-68. Used to be US40-48 all the way to Morgantown, real hills. Two lane with a few passing lanes.Next time you guys travel across I-68,when you cross the big fancy bridge on Cheat Lake by Morgantown, look to your south. You'll see a skinny little steel bridge parallel, that looks like it was built in the depression. Was weight restricted, and in the old days,if you were brave enough (or stupid enough),you would sneak across. If a car was coming at you, they would throw it in reverse, and get off the bridge because they didn't want to go in the lake with you, when the bridge collapsed. Saved a bunch of miles if you were heading down to Charleston, otherwise you had to go up to Uniontown,to cross the river legally.

Never mind, just looked it up,they blew that old bridge up 5 years ago, been a while since I've been out there. Used to run heavy loads of mine jacks across that old bridge back in the day.
