    Does Swift HH go 48 and Canada or just regional?

    IF I remember right I was told the HH division is strictly PACIFIC NORTHWEST

    This was regional (WA, OR, ID and maybe UT).

    Mind you, this is an old thread and I haven't worked there in 2 years now..... :biggrin_25525:

    Thanks this AD is old but they are always looking for new HH drivers out of the PACNORTHWEST.

    There are a number of Swift HH doubles parked in Missoula, MT as well. I'm not sure if it's being used as a drop yard or if those trailers are leftovers from when the paper mill was open.

    As a side note: I no longer drive for Swift. Found a great local job at $24/hr with lots of overtime. I will still answer SWIFTHH questions to the best of my abilities as I still have friends in the division. Average day is still 400-500 miles on sliding scale (2 loads). Average wage after 1 year is .39 -.42/mile. Not a bad place to get your feet wet and the heavier loads look good on the resume.[/QUOTE]


    I have been w Swift OTR and also mentored a couple students for a year with home terminal Jurupa Valley (SoCal). I met a nice gal in Bend OR doing a Costco load. Now 8 months later I have been making Bend my "Home" for time off requests. To get more hometime then every 4-6 weeks I am deciding to try the HH division. I am now at .36/mile and Platinum which gives me .03/mile quarterly bonus. I am worried about the differences and crossing Mt Hood all the time. Not much to choose from here for local. Any advise for finding better paying local? Thanks for your posts.
