We're going to need a bigger crane boss.
That should have been rigged up to a pulley systems and a couple of D10s to hold her back going down that hill.Ruthless and snowman_w900 Thank this. -

Not unless your rough with equipment. Heat destroys the tyres faster.
I've moved 7 trailers that weighed in at somewhere around 750000 pounds. (About 50t a piece) plus dolly's and truck.
with the ore trains we would pull a lower gear so the fan would spin faster at the higher rpm till the temp dropped.FerrissWheel, passingthru69 and DDlighttruck Thank this. -
The truck was totaled after that haul. There is no point. And even if it was possible to replace swaying failed bearings etc. There is no tool strong enough or safe enough to lift that monster. The one thing I suppose was that old mack has been paid for a very long time ago and is not a great loss.
That particular day should never have happened the way it did. Of all the loads, some righteous. That one was one that I do not feel too good about. There are 4 corner hooks on the top of that box, welded to it. I wondered how the crane man must have felt when he got a hold to put it on the ship and realized what a dead lift it was. I heard nothing about it so I imagine it made it to Europe.
