Heavy spec mileage

    TB CT 80k state and they won't give you a lb over. If your going to haul bark etc down there your tare weight might be an issue. No payment has a certain appeal.

    Yeah, no payment is nice. But sooner or later I will need to upgrade in model year. I just always keep my eyes open and saw this one. If I don't cut hay in the morning I'm going over to look at it. Another problem is going to be that all my hats, my carhart, a bunch of t-shirts all have "PETERBILT" on them.! I brought back a similar truck last week from over in NY that is going to be used in the local CDL school. I kind of liked it.

    A question about the 100,000 lbs gross in Vermont. Do you need a permit to haul heavy..??

    $500 us for non vt plated tractor good to 99k with any 3 axle trailer.

    Only on the interstate or for all roads..??

    Some local roads are not covered by permit. But interstates and state routes are ok.

    I always thought that state routes didn't need a permit. Guess i was wrong about that. Good to know, thanks..!!

    Fland, are you planning to come down here? Stop in if you do. 91 goes through our valley. We're 10 miles uphill, but need to go down by the highway to find a flat spot to check the oil.:biggrin_25519:
