Height restrictions

    Remember when Swift had 14' trailers? They ran them on 19.5 wheels, so they were only 13'6" high. They had to lift them up at the dock.

    If I recall correctly, most of the major mega carriers are against the idea, including SWIFT.....

    I am perfectly content handling a single trailer, regardless of the length.... If I wanted to handle any more in terms of length, I would have applied to work with a railroad.... lol... As luck would have it, one of my sister's best friends works for Amtrak..... as a senior conductor (?) he has several who report to him....
