    My husband leaves Monday to begin his orientation with Prime. After 25 years in the IT field, he was let go with no warning. After a year of searching, he decided to get his cdl and start a new chapter in our lives. I've driven school bus four four years and am mom to three girls. I'm hoping to meet other trucking wives and learn from their experience. I'm also looking forward to meeting other women who are just starting on this ride with their spouses...I know I'm not alone!

    My wife is the hardest working person I know. How she holds the fort down and not go nuts I'll never understand. It's not easy for either of us or our daughter but we've made it work. Keep you're head up and lots of time with family and friends. That's the trick for her. Good luck to you both.

    Thanks so much Kujo! I've got a great "family" at work and I'm hoping the girls and I will have a smooth adjustment here at home. It helps to know that I'm not alone in this experience.
