Well, after lurking around here for several months, I finally decided to sign up. I guess I've been driving for about 30 years. I was 14 when I first climbed behind the wheel of my neighbor's 1968 Mack R600 to pull his grain trailer while he picked corn. I drove for him (legally eventually) all through high school, but then my career plans made a slight left turn when I decided to go to college for education. I kept my truck license up, though, and drove team every summer to pay for tuition. I did graduate, but jobs were very hard to get in my field, so I took an OTR job, and realized that driving was what I loved. That was 1993, and I haven't gotten tired of it yet. I was a company driver for 7 years, then bought my own truck and went O/O and started working for myself. The first truck that was my own was a 10 year old Kenworth 900, which I proceeded to run the wheels off as I made every possible o/o mistake in the book. I finally have it pretty dialed in now and have had a few straight years doing really well. Now I'm running a 2008 Volvo 880.

My home base is in western Ohio, and if you see me out there in (what some people say is an ugly) light green Volvo, gimme a shout on the radio.
