    My other hurdle is trying to find a good company with a reasonable pet policy. I'd like to not pay an outrageous deposit for the dog, but I don't want to work for a crap company in order to bring the dog.

    When I emailed Roman's, they said they have a pet policy, but didn't state whether that means they allow pets or not :)

    Pretty sure I read somewhere Romans allows a pet.
    Freymiller and Magnum allow pets and have all the driver comfort amenities.
    Romans would probably be a good deal for you as far as hometime goes since their headquarters is near you.
