Hello and Thank You!

I've been reading everything I could find here and working to start up a hot shot business. I wanted everyone to know how much I appreciate the information given here. I've got my US DOT number, and Operating Authority should be coming through in the next week or so. Without the assistance from this board, I would not have been able to put together a business plan and find all the steps necessary to accomplish this. At least, not as easily nor as cheaply as I've done. I've contracted with a local freight delivery company to do trips for them at a bit less per mile than I'd like, but it's good steady income to fill in while I go out and pick up my own contracts.

Update: Turns out I don't need a DOT Number - I'm under the limits.
