Its hard to see even where I am at in Indiana, I’m right by Louisville and there’s still a lot of empty Industrial parks in this area and faded signs of companies past.

We didn’t experience these kinds of things in Florida so it was pretty jarring for us to sit there and realize that some places here may never return to what was once there.

It is the wildest thing that I am in a group of 8 people and only one other person there has the goal of driving Semis long term, the others are doing it as a backup, one guy just wants dump trucks, and there is this really young girl who at this point has crashed into so many things on the simulator that it has had to be rebooted twice.

They let her drive around the training lot Friday and I was in the bunk and the instructor was shotgun, I zoned out realizing that the row of trailers were getting closer and closer until I jerked forward when the instructor had to pop the valves because she panicked and locked up. I feel bad for her but it is very obvious it is not her choice to be there and she’s even said she’s not doing this after school.

I’ll forward all of these to whoever wants them though and encourage them to explore here to get some knowledge as well.

That is a great plan, and it's the smartest way to do OTR. Sacrificing a little to live on the road and save up as much as possible is hands down the way to do it.

Most companies you can take the girlfriend, but some don't allow cats and some do.
Ask about that when you apply or talk to a recruiter.

Yea I’m beginning to see that in some of the ones I’ve been looking at, haven’t seen it in some of the ones you’ve shared yet.

Take the cat to a beauty salon and have it made up to look like a poodle.

    GhostInTheMachine and Ddh77777 Thank this.

Freymiller and Melton can take the cat.

There's others that also accept cats, but only hire experienced drivers.

    May Trucking Company Pet Policy
May Trucking Company does allow drivers to bring pets on the road, with both dogs and cats being permitted
