    Hi

Im a UK based trucker with 23 years class 1 experience. Currently Im based 50 miles from London and Im totally fed up of our roads and the thankless task of delivering in this overcrowded island. (almost 70m of us crammed in now)

I've been lucky. I've never had an accident, or committed any offences. Im drug and alcohol free and have a clean criminal record.

Basically Im looking for advice to get me and my family relocated to the Vancouver area.

Does anyone have a clue what my chances of getting a visa and a job are and can I do all the form filling myself or must I use one of these visa companies ?

I need a new challenge as the 51st state is rapidly going down the tubes.

    Thanks guys

And no i dont own a bowler hat or talk like Dick Van Dyke :biggrin_2559:

Much obliged Baack, nice forum you have here by the way. I looked at a few but this certainly looks the best.

Id have imagined you've had a few us ask similar questions in the last few years.

I'll go searching. Thanks for the tip and the pm offer.

Thanks to Oldnewbiegonnerbe and DonnyH for the welcome.

I certainly believe in listening to those whose tyre tracks I intend to follow too often we all seen a newbie do something flash to impress and fall straight on their bum.

I might have 23 years experience but its experience of right hand drive and roads I could travel in my sleep with excursions onto the mainland which in a r/h/d truck keeps you on your toes.

Swaps - Im from the New City and although there's now 250,000 souls in this town stranger things have happened than me possibly knowing your friends. I cant pm you as a newbie but perhaps you can pm me ?
