Hello from Canada!

Hi there!
I just signed up last night. We're from Sault Ste Marie Ontario. Hello everybody! My husband trained to be a programmer analyst and was working as a software developer, but we found there to be very little work in that area. He has been facinated with truckin' since he was 15. When we found that the government would pay the 6k for his trucking school we went for a career change.
My husband got his ACZ license just in time for Christmas '10 and finally managed to get in with a company that will train him toward the end of May '11 He's working 5 days on 2 off and is driving through the Mid Western States mainly.
My hope in joining this forum is that I'll have access to some much needed advice. I'm finding my husband's career change to be a big change for me as well. This is a whole new ball of wax. Fortunatly, I'm fairly independent... aside from not having my driver's lisence. I'm working on that!
