    Hello,

I have been in the trucking industry for many years, started stacking freight at Bowman-Bham, AL in 1977 to Tanker for an Exxon dist in the 80's to dump trucks in the 90's. Most recently pulling a lowboy moving heavy equipment. All local. the kids are grown, the DW just got a one way ticket to Alaska, it's just me and the dog. I am trying to go over the road. Looking for a decent company that will give me a shot with no OTR experience.

I'm also a forum junkie, model railroad, ecig, tiny trailers and my favorite- home distillation. Hoping to find some good info here.

    thanks,
    Tully

There's a few companies that will probably get you back on the road for OTR. Stick with them at least 6 mos. minimum then you can go about anywhere you want. Try these that have helped many, many drivers get back on the road:

    Big-M Transportation
    Western Express
    Paschall Truck Lines
    Schneider

Can't remember his name now, super nice aquaintance, drove for Bowman on weekends during the 1970's and 1980's as his full time job was working at the Naval Reserve Center Birmingham as a reservist. He did lots of New Orleans or Mobile turns on weekends.
