Hey everyone,
I found this place searching for some CB radio information and instantly fell in love with it. The setup is awesome, the forums are plenty and the people seem very friendly.
Anyway, hope you don't mind another non-trucker, but I am NYS CDL BP/AB NR NYS Article 19A licensed and drive a New York City Bus for a living. Well, I did, before I retired a few months ago.
My name is Jeff, I'm 43 from Suffolk County Long Island. My wife and I travel often and extensively in the four wheel these days. Most of it along I-80/70/40 to all points westward.
PS, I'm one of those 4-wheelers who move out of the way for big trucks and give you guys the headlights to "come on over". Well, except in Pennsylvania.... but that's another story
Ok, back to the CB forum for me!

Welcome to the forum Jeff.
Always nice to have 4-wheelers here that respect us. Wish there were more of you! -

Hi Tree and Gears,
Thanks for the cool welcome! It's nice to be here. This is a huge community... I don't think I've ever seen a forum with such a large member base.
Regarding respectful driving, I suppose it's from my driving a bus for a living. A learned (and taught) appreciation for the road and those upon it. But I also drive my van cross country every 6 months or so and am on the Interstate for days on end. I'm very well versed in the locations of Petro, Loves, Pilot, Flying J and the like. My wife even used the showers in one
So yeah, I'm a 4-wheel... with a 40-foot 40,000 pound mentality! -
Hey Rambler! Ya slipped in just as I was replying! Sorry I missed ya the first go around... thanks for the welcome
