Are those balls supposed to be crab cakes?? Or are they in that pitiful looking plastic thing?! If your crab cakes don't look like these...walk away!!

Good pics.I remember back in the days when Costas was a truckstop and a restaurant.Big hangout for steelworkers,too Beth Steel,GM,were going full tilt,they used to cash trucking company drafts for us there,before the com check days. Had a check cashing business in the back of the bar,always busy,would cash anyones check,for a fee. Had a designated area outside in the back striped off for truck parking,lot would be full of steel haulers,going in and out of the Point.
In the early 70's,we would have a midnite appointment to load at Beth,stop at Costas,cash a check,have a sandwich,couple of beers,then go load. Used to haul coils up to Harrisburg,Pa,heavy as hell, .55 cwt. Put on as much weight as you want,everyones asleep,no worries about getting caught heavy.
Haven't been in Costas in a while,but never got a bad meal there. Good crabs.

 

I'm just keeping the thread going with yall good ppl of MD. I've had a plenty of crab cakes in B more. And they are addictive, I know B more is known for heroin. But do they put it in the crab cakes. Darn those things are good.
