Long time reader but first time subscriber and poster! I've been driving tandem straight trucks for four years and prior to that I drove single axle box trucks for five years locally (100 miles give or take). I'm wanting to move up to a tractor-trailer now and I'm excited for this. :biggrin_255: I'm in the process of signing on with a company that trains as well. Do you think I have a good shot at getting hired? I have clean 100% clean record no infractions no accidents. Drug-free with dot card.

Well anyways, nice meeting you all hope to talk to you on the member boards and maybe the road too sometime soon!!

    Chinatown Thanks this.

My guess is you have a 100% chance of being hired. If the company you're signing on with doesn't work out, there are plenty others that will take you.

good to hear. I'm just ready to experience over the road instead of local only.
