My name is Jerry and have had my class A since '92. In all these years I have never driven a big rig. I got my license to drive a 2 1/2 ton pulling a 30' trailer and backhoe, which I did for many years. I am wanting to get into water hauling in the oil field. I do have my tanker and hazmat. It seems you need that piece of paper these days for insurance purposes. So I am going to attend Grayson county truck driving school in a couple of weeks. I just read on another thread that I should qualify for using the hazelwood act to pay my tuition. I was prepared to pony up the dough but if I can use that an extra $4100 ain't never hurt nobody. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for all the great info on here. And most of all thank you truckers for doing what you do so well. The world would be turned upside down without you.
