Hello from Pennsylvania

Hi Everyone,

Been lurking here for quite awhile and just signed up a few weeks ago. Really appreciate the information that gets posted on this site...and the chuckles.

Little about me: I am soon to be 37 and have spent time building cell tower sites, mechanical design engineer, field engineer, and a project manager. Lost my position as a PM in Dec. of 2016 and spent 9 months out of work despite sending out upwards of 150 resumes! Got a few interviews, but nothing ever came to fruition.

So now I am getting ready to get into this industry; it is something that I had considered several times in the past 15 years, but life had me head in a different direction. Anyways, I was accepted into the Millis Transfer CDL training program and will start there on February 26th at the Eden, NC location. Just got my DOT card the other day and will be getting my CLP in the next day or so.

Glad to be here on this site with you guys, I have learned quite a bit and realize I have a loooong ways to go yet.
