Being in Phoenix, probably best to buy new or late model so you would be legal in California, forget about the old iron. Many run containers from LA to AZ. Fed Ex Ground has a hub in Phoenix. And Ruan also has loads sometimes. Best to lease your units to a fleet, Wait a while to get your own authority, as it can bring more problems.

A couple things to consider......old trucks break down, and almost always usually a 1000 mi from home, which means finding a trustworthy mechanic to repair it and putting your driver in a hotel etc. Not to mention loss of revenue. I vote for new. Question, how many hrs do you put in at the strip club ? If you buy a truck or 2 or 3 and lease them on to a major carrier, they may find and hire drivers, as well as do most of paperwork and find loads etc. Which is lots less headaches for you. The strip cub closes at 2 am....trucking is 24/7. luck to ya' :help::pain10:
