My apologies, Carl, you obviously speak far more English than I expected!
Did you learn at school, I'm guessing its not widely used there?

I don't know much about Sweden, although my cousin just moved there about 6 months ago, to a town called Vasteras. I haven't been to visit her yet, maybe later this year.
Do you drive in Germany? Would that be via Finland and Russia, or is there a ferry crossing? Either way must be a long trip!

    That´s okay i didn´t take any offence :)
Our english lessons are pretty basic. I´ve learned much from watching movies and I have been on vacation in many countries so I have learned english from that. I have been a straight A student in english, but that´s a matter of symantics.(spell?)

Not many Americans do know much about Sweden, but I will gladley answer any questions you have :)

Västerås or Vasteras as You say it, are about 100km from my town.

About Germany, from my location You have about a 600km drive to the fairy in Trelleborg that will take You to Travemünde. Or you can take the Öresundsbron to Denmark and drive thru to Germany. I think that is a 1200km drive.

    Have a nice day// Calle
