Hello from the Pacific Northwest

Hello everyone we are West Coast Carriers and we're based in the Pacific Northwest. We are a small brokerage company that services all 50 states and Canada. I started in the Industry back in the early 90’s as a dock hand, then sales, then as a driver. I loved driving and meeting new people all over the United States. Unfortunately my neck couldn’t take it anymore and it was time to go back to a desk job. I miss being on the road from time to time but miss meeting new people most of all. I worked for a few trucking companies but was never happy with the way they treated their drivers. Being I am an ex driver myself this was more important to me than even I realized. So after I left my last job early in 2007, I started West Coast Carriers. I love it and wouldn’t do anything else. I still get to talk to people from all walks of life and each days is never the same. There has been a lot of changes in this industry over the years and looks as if there’s more to come as well.

 

Couldn't see me doing anything other than this. My favorite part was touring all the businesses when I would pick up or deliver.
