    I think what everyone is trying to say is that truck ownership can be very good. You just need to have all your ducks in a row. I am a newbie to trucking. I figure I will wait a few years, save up $30 to $40 thousand dollars and then look carefully into whether a lease purchase program is a good idea or if an out right purchase makes more sense.

    Everyone is right. You can find a lot of threads here on this forum that can show you the ins and outs of lease purchasing. I would spend your free time studying, figuring out what is best for you, yourself, not your trainer or any company person who is trying to "sell" you on a lease purchase.

    Well, Doris (I assume its a man, since he referred to his wife, even though his name is "Doris") said that he drove over in some European country for a while. Maybe this is his first driving job in the states or something.

    Doris, dont be biased by Prime....Trucks in American CAN go over 58mph....Just not Prime trucks.
