My 2020 cascadia is an automatic and it puts itself in coast mode everytime I start to go downhill. Even with my jakes on I could pick up quite a bit of speed if I was not paying attention.
Hello, I have a question.

80?
I bury the Speedo whenever possible.
That's the only time I can pass the idiots in cascadias...who won't let you pass..schneider..crete..etc.buddyd157 Thanks this. -
One thing that everyone seems to have missed is that in addition to the overspeed, op had other points that hadn't rolled off. Swift gives drivers a lot of points before it triggers termination. They also roll off entirely every 90 days, and they decrease by 1/3rd every 30 days...he clearly has a pattern of unsafe driving events.

Darn engineers. What part of power to the drives do they not understand. -

Momentum on some hills is the only way to get it up and over. It's a basic part of trucking.
I would hit the bottom of milesburg hill 10 mile pull at 120 and halfway up Im at 80 and pulling down from horse to torque and over the top at 60. If I hit the bottom at say 55 in those days it would have been about a 32 mph pull for about oh 20 minutes.Upinsmoke Thanks this. -
Yes I get that's company rules and all. But what is the reason?
Please answer with more than safety.
Iwould like to see a printout of the truck before and after the 80mph event.Upinsmoke Thanks this.
