good luck squatch.i dont turn 21 untill november 7th and trucking is in my blood and thats what i want to do so i figured i would fill out and apllication. got done filling it out and gave them a call, they wont give me the go ahead on an date for november cause its so far away still..told her i just wanna make sure i can get out there asap after my b day cause its somthing i really want to do.i have a perfectly good job here at home and most say im stupid for leaving. like said its somthing i WANNA do not have to do. Ill just call back october 1st lol till they get sick of me and give me a date

uber, thats definetly a plan, worst they can say is no. Have you talked to any other companys? i know its hard out there right now but it seems like you have made up your mind. i thought i had a game plan, then last night i got a call form a company around here staying local and being home ever night for about the same money, so now i have a lot of thinking to do.

 

yea primes the only one ive talked to pretty much dont want to have to bother with anyone else unless i cant get in with prime.my uncles an O/O and i know hes looking to buy another truck but honestly hes dedicated and hes got an old freight shaker that has no room in it other than the bed and thats what i would be in prolly so it would get old fast i wanna be otr.dont get me wrong its a nice good running old truck, motors ben totaly rebuilt. had over 1million miles on it when he bought it and it didnt leak/burn a drop of oil.he drove the truck brand new back when he worked for ryder so that was kinda cool that 10 years later he ends up buying it.best of luck with that decission man.

call them..ice called twice and only waited like 2 minutes the first time and just sunday i put in my app and called only waited 5 minutes b4 i talked to somone..give them a call and be willing to stay on hold for a few minutes somone will answer asap

 

I am wondering how somone can tell if you have sleep apnea? Hook you to a machine when you sleep?

They do that to everyone?

When I did my local physical for school the forms had a specific sleep apnea question.

I sleep good. I fall asleep quick.

 

That can be an indicator of having it... Your body maybe starving for rest. Its by no way the only indicator, or even one that you have it at all.

You are hooked up to a machine during what they call a sleep study... they measure the amount of interuptions your sleep incurs from snoring or blockage of your air way... each time time your airflow is blocked your body has to work extra hard to catch up... this work interupts your sleep and causes brain wave activity that interupts deep sleep patterns that your body needs.

My brother had one conducted by the Army... He is a pilot... his sleep was being interuppted 15 times more than the average person without Sleep Apnea. He used the C-Pap machine for a while before getting the surgery that can help allieviate the snoring/blockage.

He no longer snores, which his wife loves... unless he goes to bed after a long night of drinking... then she is double pissed off.
