Any bus without a lot of passengers will be a decent ride.
-
If you get a lot of ppl.... well.... good luck lol
-
Even tho the plane is more expensive i think i will fly out to spingmo than ride the bus. Just need to save the money for it. I think it will be worth it.
-
I have driven freightliner, kw, international, Ford, Mack, and nothing drives like a peterwacker. Just saying.
-
Let me put it this way: if the choice is go out in the FL or wait days for no pay on the PB, AND the FL gets better mpg (fuel bonus) than the PB..does it matter?
Case in point, JCW has driven the team Pete, the team FL, and now the solo FL. He prefers FL. -
No I totaly agree. I will take what ever is there, but a Pete drives a lot better. That's just my opinion.
-
I want the power the Pete has. The FL just doesnt have any power... But does turn far better than a Pete does. I drove a Pete in the truck rodeo during the picinic... I could get accustomed to it. Not worried about the stiff clutch since I rarely use the clutch anyway lol The only company flatbed truck here is a 2010 Super Cascadia. Doubt theyll give me that one, but again, only flatbed truck here. They do have a nice KW flatbed truck... for lease, but not doin a lease
-
I hear you on the lease. Get some miles under your belt before you take the plunge, or at least wait till after winter. Freight usually slows down in the winter.

My flight out of Providence cost $203.00. Prime is riembursing $137.00 of that when I get there.
6 hrs on plane versus 2 1/2 days on bus.
To me that was the best $66.00 I have spent in a long time.
If you book the flight at least a week out you will find it cheaper. Any of the departure dates within 6 days of booking was twice some three times as much.
OH yea, I booked through Priceline.
Good luck.....
