Hello, I am new to the Trucking Forums, and I hope to find some good info here.
I am interested in starting a careerer in trucking. I have thought about this for sometime now. I have a good license no CDL as of yet.
I would be looking to find info on either going to School for the CDL on my own or having a company pay for it. I am just not sure what way to go here?
I am not sure who is good to work for or who to stay aay from, so I hope to find that info on here too.
I wish all of you a Merry Christmas.
Bob

Welcome to TTR, Bob. Glad you wandered in. There are several threads on schools, and also many threads on good starter companies. So have a look around, I'm sure that you will find the information you need to get started. Good luck and keep us posted on your decisions.

Welcome to the party! Plenty of info here, along with a bit of fun. Or is that plenty of fun and a bit of info?

Thank you folks for the welcome, I am sure it will take a while to read thru everything here. I am open for any tips or pointers for a new guy.
To give a little insight, I am in my 40's single, no kids, no wife. Not affraid of being out on the road for a while. I would just like to get home from time to time to ride my Harley.
