    Is there often a lot of home daily in that area? I was really hoping to get into hazmat and tanker hauling with my two pals who have their CDL as well. Possibly get our own trucks and work together.

    Most line haul is home daily. Sometimes might have to layover in a hotel room.
    Yes there's hazmat tanker work in your area also.

    after you get endorsements, you could haul gasoline to local service stations. Home every night, usually hourly pay and a fun job. You get to know all the folks on your route. Of course, it won't pay like Sysco does.... priorities priorities.

    I know the Averitt ltl line haul guys out of grand prairie texas are home every night and get paid well. But they are dog tired every night cuz they push them hard and fast.
