Hi there! I'm new and thought I should introduce myself-
I'm new to this forum and brand new to this industry. I'm a 40 year old military spouse/house wife and I just signed up for truck driver school I have no clue what I'm doing or if I'll even be able to do it I'm truly hoping I can-
I'm ready for a change and to finally do something for myself- travel a bit, make some $$ and let the husband deal with the crazy teenagers for a while My husband is planning on joining me after he retires in a few years- but I'm going ahead to gain some experience and to help us be out of debt by the time he retires and kids are graduated.
Any other military spouses here that have done similar?
Any other ladies here that can offer advice about trucking as a woman?
Is this profession physically demanding? I'm not very strong but I love driving, traveling & solitude. So if anyone has any advice/tips/guidance etc to offer, Or just want to say Hi or that I'm crazy feel free to leave a comment.
