I'm new to this forum and i really like it:biggrin_255:.Love all the good advise and comments, which is why i will post this question and hope to get some answers. My Hubby has been a Driver(company) for about 7 years and like so many of you ,has his good and bad days.He just left a company after working there for 2 years in the hopes of "more miles and better hometime"went to orrientation and was send home because of 4 citations, which the company said amounted to 18 points(not on his MVR)guess on there system, notttttttt sureeeeeeee?????
Anybody ever had this happen to them, what does this mean???
He has 2 right turn incidents and 2 not observing trucklane restricktions,he payed the fines,he was never suspended and thought all was ok.
Now i wonder and worry if this will be a problem with all company's he applies for???

To all of you,,,,,,,,have a blessed day and stay safe!!

hello and welcome to the forums. as of right now, since its NOT on his DMV report, i "might surmise" its on his CSA2010 profile.

CSA2010 is a "safety analysis" for drivers and the trucking companies.

i will provide you with a link, and then you can read through some of the "mumbo-jumbo" the government is setting up.

i find that 18 points are "too many" at this time, as no one knows how many points a driver can reach before becoming unemployable. myself, i would "think" it'll be at least 50 maybe as high as 100 points.

BUT, if 20 points will be the killer for drivers, then i'd say he's going to have to wait 36 months for those points to fall off. but i hope this is NOT the case.

here is the CSA2010 (several links)

now also, for $10 he can get a copy of his "DATAQ"

Always a good idea to check you MVR before leaving the house and paying to go to orientation! Make sure to bring it with you too. Along with your DAC and your resume. Just a little insider tip!
