Hello ya'll, another newb, permit in hand and school starting Monday. After reading through a boatload of posts in here I decided on Swift and spending a year or 2 there, in spite of the indentured servant posts. My previous job was 15 years and once my wife was diagnosed with Lymphoma and Leukemia I was fired for absences pertaining to her illness. I cannot do an office job and cannot afford to continue to try and live on Phoenix unemployment. I am going in with eyes wide open, expecting to pay dues for the first year or 2, then if I am unhappy I will have the experience to go for something better. Thought I would say hello and introduce myself. I have enjoyed these forums and the information they provide.

Welcome to the party!
I think Texas-Nana runs out of the Phoenix area. There are several others that are doing well with Swift too that are around here on a regular basis. -
Welcome and hate to hear about the wife. Good luck.

Thank you rambler, I appreciate the sentiment.

I should probably clarify that her Lymphoma is in remission, went through the chemo and it is all gone. The Leukemia is controlled with a prescription, 60K a year prescription ( no joke ) but for now at least the manufacturer is providing it for free. I just have to get back to work and get insurance again, and thank God for no more pre-existing condition. 1 day of class down, a new start in the making
Lilbit Thanks this.
