So, my husband decided that he was tired of standing on his feet 14 hours a day and has decided to sit on his butt instead. Ok, not quite how it went down, but I'm a pretty tongue in cheek gal. Ask him.
I have all the normal issues w/ him being up and away for weeks at a time. Fortunately our kids are not little, and are kinda beyond the point of needing Dad around all the time. Not that they don't need their Daddy, just not where they can hang on to him like a regular Jungle Jim.
Most of my .... reservations? hangups? ... are actually self-esteem based, I think. Sure I worry about him out there, there are lots of nightmarish wreck stories. I worry about the home front, too. But that has more to do with several 800 pound cattle deciding to test the fence than worrying about some young buck deciding to test me. *Note to self* get in some practice w/ the firearms.
We've been married for 12 years this coming August, he's never given me cause to doubt him. Ever. Gotta love that in a man. Like I said, most of my issues are personal and self esteem related. I'm hoping that I can use the time to get my head a bit straighter.
Hopefully, it will get easier. Time will tell.

My lady has had some of the same issues....but when I get home dead tired and need sleep and she wants attention seems to be her most difficult adjustment.

Though I have my doubts, I've seen quite a few yotes hangin on fence posts, apparently it's believed to send off a warning sign.
