    I was on the internet searching out CDL training schools and came across this website and forum. I was following a thread started by OpenRoadGuy and was impressed by all the friendly advice given by the members. I am considering getting into trucking. I want to just do local driving here in Newport News, VA. There are a lot of military bases around here and want to get a government CDL driver job. Anyway, just wanted to say hello ans looking forward to chatting with whoever will listen. God belss you all and to God be the Glory!

    Welcome to TTR! My brother works at Ft Lee. He had me lined up for a truck driving instructor job but I didn't want to move there. There's plenty of good driving jobs there. Occasionally they will post good jobs on USA.gov.

    I use to deliver meat to that naval base commissary near you.
