Hello

Hello Everyone. I'm new (as you can tell by posting on the "Welcome Wagon" forum. Old trucker; off the road 20 yrs while I raised a family, getting back on the road.
I have decided this is the best place to learn about what's happening, been happening, and possibly going to happen to us truckers to keep myself informed. Monday October 6, I have a meet and greet with our local congressman John Duncan to try and get him to push more for the "Workforce Investment Act" (WIA), to help train some of our unemployed to be a safety conscious driver to get them back to work. Lord knows our current President is out sourcing and running off all the jobs. (not going to get into that) Id like some feed back over the weekend of what all might think of this and any ideas, suggestions that I can pass along to the congressman.

Chinatown, I'll do it. I will print all questions I get over the weekend and talk to him and hand him all the questions. Of course He will ask what are some suggestions to fix the problems I'm sure.

 

The meet didn't go as planned. He didn't even talk to the drivers. Figures.
