HELP! 2013 VNL 780 D13 Won't Start?!?!

    I bought this truck in May 2018, the dealer said he put new batteries in. I had just changed the alternator just last week after factory one died. I DID PUT A REBUILT in, (now hearing that that may be a problem of it's own). Was having an occasional slow start but after new rebuilt, she was cranking right up!!
    I was sitting for a few days, ran the APU off & on, even drove a few miles the night before this problem of no starting. Baffled why it happened outta the blue?
    PS; did change the fuel filter (now) as it was showing 2/3 to top; dirty. Even tried occasional starting fluid. No start!!!

    I believe you need a six-pack, injectors not beer. The most common problem with D13 , i've had this injector problem 6 times since 2007 on.my 2x Volvos with D13. Try to prime it, use the manual pump, and once started look for air bubbles in fuel tank return line.

    So its turning over just not catching? When this happens do the gauges work properly or are they just dead.
