Sounds reasonable to me. If his trainer got mad at him stopping for bathroom breaks, he surely won't mind him using a bottle to relieve himself while driving.

Sorry, but if a trainer is going to get upset that I had to stop to take a piss, I'll piss right on his pillow. To hell with him. You are risking major medical issues to try and not urinate when your body is telling you to.

There is NO REASON for a trainer to NOT be a reasonable person and to be accepting of a rude and unprofessional person is wrong, ESPECIALLY in a trainer position. Firm yes, but not to the point that someone is made so uncomfortable to feel a need to lie why they are going home.

Is there more to the story, possibly. But based on what the OP stated, Yes, he should have gotten a new trainer. Maybe he did need to pull the big boy pants up a little bit more.

But that does NOT excuse a trainer from being a first class jerk.

Pretty much the way I see this too. No excuse for telling a man when he can't go relieve himself. That's a good way to cause some bad trouble.

Total BS. My trainers have been very nice and supportive here at Roehl. They've let me make mistakes, and have kept calm, which keeps me calm. The last thing you need is some trainer in your face, belittling you while you try to do something you've never done before. As for point #2, that's also a crock. I went to RDTC with zero experience driving a truck and 4 weeks later I'm driving one through Chicago. That's what a good, CALM, trainer can do for you.
