If he runs his truck under an MC# that will allow it, he can book his own loads using a DAT or ITS account but the MC# and broker will have to do the carrier packets and rate confirmations. I assume it would be in the MC's best interest to have their leased trucks running vs sitting.

 

You will find BK to be a absolute. Its not a pleasant process to go through. You will come out with barely the shirt on your back and a couple of other things but everything else will be stripped and sold against your debts. Boat? Gone. Extra vehicle? Gone. etc.

Find out how to get out of the lease and go work for a company. This really is your only option.

It's an American thing

 

Call the bank that you got your loan from. They will let you know where (usually an auction) to drop your truck. Or you can post your truck on eBay for the amount you owe to the bank so it sells fast and you don’t damage your credit.

 

Call Volvo.
