Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. The only part he mentioned that worries me is that the hours are contingent on how well AK steel is doing. So if they have periods where they aren’t producing as much, your hours could be cut down.

You just gotta work hard in the busy time and put some money back for the slow time.
ever field in trucking got a time to boom and a time to snooze but ak is a big name so even in the slow time it shouldn't be to bad

Food for thought here..medium size refrigerated company in Missouri named D&D Sexton hires students w/license. Covers Midwest & East. Good sign on bonus, benefits, 1 year bonus, etc.

Disclaimer I don't mean to be pushing this job like the only one.

Yeah I’m keeping my options open. I’m making a list of everything anyone suggests and I’ll go through all of them when
    Sweet. I’ll check them out

If you want Teamsters benefits, look at Nick Strimbu, Inc. Hires new cdl school grads.
They're regional and with union benefits you're vested for a pension after 5 years.
This company is headquartered in Brookfield, Ohio. Refrigerated or flatbed to choose from.
