    (To continue the theme)

Well, flatbed rates arent easy to get 6$ a mile all miles with 50% deadhead, so im going to move to reefer, i hear its recession-proof.

we can trade trailers and ill just buy 50 or 60 lb of dry ice a week to toss in the van, thatll save weight and fuel.

Also glue some styrofoam insulation to the walls. It'll make the dry ice last longer!

I figure if I left just enough sidewall material intact ( a straps width) every 10’ It won’t need any securement. Just cut through those pieces after I got to the yard before unloading.

You know what, just cut holes in the walls so you can side load. Leave the roof. Now you don't have to tarp!

When I lived in Minnesota I had several trailers
    A construction trailer
    An enclosed snowmobile trailer
    A camper trailer etc

I was wondering why no one made a trailer frame that each top could be lifted off and switched

1 set of axles and just put whatever top you needed on for that occasion
    The work top M-F
    Camper weekends
    Sled top winter etc

Lift off like a camper does in a pickup

OSB and great stuff spray foam. Save your money and don’t worry about paint. That is way to much of an investment for a first timer.

But then you are getting a little close to converting to a livestock trailer territory.

Good point. And I'm pretty sure this design isn't going to be able to handle 90mph!

I hear that any of the Dot approved conspicuity tape will hold it together at those speeds just fine.
