Help eaton auto shift problems

Truck has ran fine for 400 miles, then it decides to shift 4 to 5 to 6 and back down with out upshifting to 7th. Done this 2-3 times, finally got to ATL and it wouldn't go past 4th. Finally cleared codes and through fault code in 9th and 10th gear. Pulled into truck stop for 15 minutes, turned it on and no issues. Next day, still throwing fault codes when slowing down below 5th gear. Stop at SS and the thing won't move, cleared codes and got it out of road. ANY THOUGHTS?

 

What fault codes did it throw? Knowing them would be helpful.

 

The company I haul for has 3 of them in company trucks. When they have a problem out on the road they unhook their batteries for 5 minutes. They said this lets the computer reset it's self. Most of the time this works for them.

 

Yup, works for me as well. Sometimes I have to unhook for as much as an hour for it to reset itself.

 

Sounds like xy shifter going out. But unhook batteries first.
