I agree, it would have been. They may just do the training thing with everyone for "safety". Or could even be the guy I talked to didn't even have the right application pulled up when he told me about the training bit. He sounded young, and kind of giggly.

I just got off the phone with McElroy a few minutes ago and they’ve got me set up for orientation not this Monday but next.
I technically lied on my application when it asked me if I had any citations (I’m assuming this is a moving violation, but I’ve been out a while), because I received an overweight citation at a weigh station for being overweight on one of my axels, but not over gross; should I call my recruiter back and inform them of this? I’m not one of those people who’s naive to think they can hide things such as citations and hitting something with their trucks, I know it’s on my record because I’ve paid to see it, just not sure if it’s that big of a deal to bring up at this stage in the hiring process because they had to of seen it by now and whether they choose to believe me that I “forgot to mention it” is clearly up to them… -
Can you get a hazmat? Tankers lots of jobs down there for that. Cryo too.farmerjohn64 Thanks this. -
I could but I don’t have the money, that’s why I posted that, guess I’m hesitant to even bring it up because I can’t afford to make any mistakes. Ah hell if telling the truth even after the fact torpedoes my job opportunity, then there’s always somewhere else -
West Texas is a day away from you. I don't know if the oil field is profitable. But it sits in my mind.farmerjohn64 Thanks this. -
