Mine is 430hp, and tires are spinning when empty also, on the snow though)

With that kind of hp you need to be easy on the take off and keep extra joints in stock. Joints are the same as the ones back in the 200 hp days. The 1700 series was considered overkill when they came out in the late ‘40’s. Many 500+ hp trucks still use them but replacement frequency is much greater.

Went to my shop, u joints checked out good. Mechanic said it could be the power divider?he says when I bobtail it’s taking no pressure so it’s smooth but with a load the torque is letting the issue be known

I know what it is, I just use the question mark to ask if anyone has experience with that

You've made me do a search and learn thing to do, but your mechanic is dead wrong, those are just gears, they are slip and spin and should be running smooth, your truck is jump shaking.

So if the truck runs great bobtail, runs okay with trailer on flats, but shakes up hill the power divider should be fine?

I'm more than convinced it is a drive line issue, bad joint the most to blame, fire mechanic and find another one. Power divider works only with nothing, meaning, if you lock your differentials, on the slippery surface one tire would spin anyway, and truck would not move. Meaningless thing to have, unless chained up.

PS: When I've bought my first family feeder, truck, I went to MA and back to WA, truck was kind of shaking, kind of not, not movable by hands when "tested" and when I've tried to find a bad joint. But.. when I took all the joints off, one of them was HALF gone. Not even needle bearings, just pure metal to metal gone. Replaced all of them myself, had bought U Joint remover, easy, 1mil mi after, grease every other month, looked new till sold, no shaking ever.
