Anyone know what the part pictured in my Avatar is? It came off a 1999 Peterbilt 379. I was told it may be a fuel heater.. It has a float mechanism inside that is broken and a spring in another chamber. No electrical connections at all just fuel lines. Can this be safely bypassed? Called Rush Peterbilt and they don't carry anything like this... Thanks for your help!

Looks like a fuel manifold of some sort. I would say it likely has some check valves inside. Maybe a restriction orifice in the fuel return side?

Never saw a part like that.
I rule out a heater because of no power or coolant lines going to it.
But it looks like it has 2 inlets and 2 outlets.
So maybe something wasn't hooked up to it....???????
