    It
It would be high, and I be honest the odds of them havin a guy that knows them older Cummins is just as big a crap shoot. You’re this deep in why farm it out now? It’s just nuts and bolts attention to detail. The timing on one can get a little tricky but I’m betting it’s something you could find help with semi local.

The Cummins dealer near me doesn’t know squat, unless it’s ISX or newer. I expected it, when I approached them about getting some parts for my FIL’s CPL 160 rebuild but when I asked them about parts for my N14 and the parts guys called it a “M14”, “N15” “M15”, I knew I might as well be Loki g up a hogs arse.

Sad thing is it really doesn't take much intelligence to RTFM (Read The ####### Manual). Any half decent mechanic should have no issues rebuilding anything provided they have the service info and the tooling.

Yeah I was thinking about an in frame myself but I still need a machine shop

    and…… a little guidance lol

I found a small town diesel repair shop in a little town called Desoto about an half hour south of me….
They got all 5 star reviews, thinking about having them go through the motor and the old style 13 speed I have as well.

that way I know everything is ready to go

so my next question…….. when I buy the cut off suspension what gear ratio do I want I’m thinking I’m going to use a detachable towing unit and maybe do some flat bed / end dump hauling?

are you sure that’s an RT6613 knob.
    A medium duty trans.

an RTO 12513 and 14613 will have low direct and over

The RT 12513 and 14613 will have low direct and under

Like I said I haven’t driven it yet
That’s just what I was told. Also an update on the motor come to find out it’s a 1976 NTC 350 small cam.

    so nothing is original
