You were right vinsanity (appreciate the encouragement) , I did mention it in another thread, so I took a trip to Georgia and got my CDL up there after surrendering my Florida license and had to retake my Hazmat. 55 bucks and it was done. So now I'm updating the app on the Schneider website and telling the lady on Wednesday if she doesn't notice the update. Hopefully, I get it...

You should be okay since you got GA CDL.

You didn't say whether you were going local, regional, or OTR. All that affects you ability to get hired in some areas.

I am looking for regional but I'm only 22 and I have no problem with paying my dues doing OTR. I spoke with the recruiter yesterday and we set up an appointment for today for an interview. It's a Regional Tanker spot, so I highly doubt I'll get it at 22 right out of school. The only other position they have right now is OTR Tanker which I doubt I'll get either.

I don't have any recommendations cept pack as light as you can. Oh...and bring a laptop if you can. You will have some videos and such watch and it's helpful to have your own computer.

Remember....You're orientation is really a 3 week long interview, so be on your best behavior, they are evaluating everything you do. When they are training you they are really evaluating your driving. They aren't heartless though....they want you to succeed.

    Guess I did have a few reccomendations....=P

I just finished my " finals" at orientation in Fontana for Schneider and it's been a very positive experience. The trainers where great. They really try hard to enable your success. I've been treated very well.

Good luck bro...I think you will like Schneider, I think it's a great trucking company..so far anyways.
