Answer me this one question and if its a YES..
This is your answer
Their were quite a few Mercedes engines put in these trucks.
These engines were very trouble free and had few problems.
They were built for a BUS application in South America.
They were not fast or had a lot of power and were slow with a heavy load. For which they were not made to do.
When serviced properly very dependable and cheap to operate.
Leaked a bit of oil but new pan gasket cured that.
I had the same truck and MB motor up until a few years ago.Last edited: Mar 28, 2024

Why don’t you take it somewhere that has the software to read what it says instead of throwing parts at it
Rookie2020 and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
I don’t know anyone besides the dealership and they tend to hold your truck for weeks so they can charge more. I would appreciate if you can refer me to someone that you know that can help me out with.

Where can I get a dyno test because I don’t know and never have done one

Thank you for your suggestion but I don’t know where. I asked the dealer and they said to leave the truck so they can get to it tomorrow. I don’t trust them to much and I don’t let the truck with them

I’m confused. What was the question he was supposed to answer?
-
What motor has this truck got in it ???

Ok. All I saw was a comment on Mercedes engines.
