Start calling landfills who can accommodate and unload a dry van then go beat the hell out of the broker and his car, I guess.
But regardless, be ready to pay still more than you're already out. -
Give someone else the brokers number and have them call. Maybe they will answer another number. If nothing else find a recycler. ( is that spelled correctly?)
sdaniel, Shock Therapy and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
If the shipper won't take it back they should pay for the disposal of it or pay you to bring it back. The broker could see if he can sell the scrap paper. They could also just have you unload it at some wearhouse and pay to have in storage untill the recieve wants it on a later date

foodbanks will take it and sell it for scrap.... helps feed the homeless. just saying.
delta5 Thanks this. -
If the instructions are 'we don't want it back and we don't care about it' you gotta find someone who will pay you for it. I'd start by calling up every company like the one you are delivering to. There are also a couple of large paper brokerages out there. I don't know the names though. Where are you in the country right now?

Call waste management, or look up cardboard recycling. They do magazines and paper as well. You might even get paid. When i ran roll off cardboard paid a few bucks a ton
G13Tomcat Thanks this.
